Mom’s Spelling Aid is a paid spelling practice tool for parents. This policy explains what information we handle, why we handle it, and the choices you have, including our use of advertising cookies.
We use the Meta Pixel, a piece of technology from Meta Platforms, to measure how well our advertising performs: for example, which ads lead to visits or purchases.
Through the Pixel, Meta receives information such as the pages you view on this site, the time of your visit, device and browser details, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Meta may combine this with information it holds about you under its own privacy policy.
We use this information for two purposes: measuring advertising performance (understanding which ads work) and advertising delivery and optimization (showing and improving our ads).
In regions where advertising cookies require consent, the Pixel stays blocked until you accept, and rejecting keeps it blocked. Where consent is not required, measurement runs without a banner, and you may still opt out as described below.
You can accept or reject at any time using the Cookie settings shortcut at the bottom-left of the page or the button below. Withdrawing consent takes effect immediately and applies to future page loads; it never blocks your access to the product.
You can also limit interest-based advertising through your browser or device settings and through industry opt-out tools such as the DAA’s WebChoices tool or the Network Advertising Initiative’s opt-out page. If you have a Facebook account, Meta’s “Off-Facebook activity” settings also let you manage how your activity is used.
When you create an account, we store your email address, your children’s profiles and their practice results, so your words and progress are saved between sessions. This data is used only to provide the product. We do not sell it, and children’s practice data is never used for advertising.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
Account and practice data are kept while your account is active. Advertising-measurement events are handled by Meta under its own retention practices. Your consent choice is kept on your device until you change it.
